Power Rangers: Cosmic Fury – A Cosmic Adventure Awaits on Netflix in September 2023

“Power Rangers: Cosmic Fury” is landing on Netflix this September 2023. This is the 30th season of the iconic franchise. With exciting twists, returning characters, and a fresh cosmic perspective, this season is set to captivate both old fans and newcomers.

If you’ve been following the Dino Fury Rangers, the transition to the Cosmic Fury Rangers will bring a different level of excitement to you. Adding layers to the excitement, David Yost, the original Blue Power Ranger, Billy Cranston, is reprising his role.

Here’s what Simon Bennett, the executive producer of Cosmic Fury had to say about Yost’s recasting, “We felt it would be a meaningful landmark for fans to have David return to the show in a significant role, playing a mentor, And on a personal level, it was a thrill to be working with the O.G. Blue Ranger. David’s calm and positive spirit kept us all grounded and reminded us of the Ranger legacy we were striving to do justice to.”

Nickelodeon held the rights to the franchise up until 2021. Netflix’s acquisition of the show’s distribution rights has brought a fresh energy to the Power Rangers universe. Netflix announced the expected arrival of Cosmic Fury in a post in September 2022.

The second part of the Dino Fury season premiered exclusively on Netflix in September 2022, and it treated fans with a two-part adventure building anticipation for the next leg of the series.

The confirmation of returning cast members in the Cosmic Fury, including Russell Curry, Hunter Deno, Kai Moya, Tessa Rao, Chance Perez, and Jordan Fite, assures fans that the essence of Dino Fury will be retained. Hunter Deno will set a record by shifting her role from the Pink Ranger to the Red Ranger, which will happen for the first time in the Power Ranger history.

Becca Barnes and Alwyn Dale are writing the show and they promise to keep the audiences on the edge of their seats. The switch from the traditional 22-episode format to a more concise ten-episode season will probably allow for a tighter, faster paced narrative.
