One of the most popular artists of this century, Rihanna, recently got on stage to perform in a full-length concert at a wedding ceremony in India. The R&B superstar was paid at least $6 million to perform live in the pre-wedding festivities of Radhika Merchant and Anant Ambani, the youngest son of Asia’s richest man, Mukesh Ambani.
In her first public performance after last year’s Superbowl, Rihanna impressed everyone with her classy dance moves. As per numerous clips surfacing on social media, Rihanna performed “Umbrella,” “Consideration,” and “Stay” at the event. She also showcased her gracious dance moves on “Work,” Wild Thoughts,” “Birthday Cake,” “Pour It Up,” and “Pose” for the to-be couple.

Rihanna wore a green embroidered gown with a hot pink headpiece. After her performance ended, the Ambani family joined her on stage to get their photos clicked. The singer also interacted with paps and shared her experience visiting the country. she said,
It was best, and I want to come back to India. I loved it (here),
The concert was held in the hometown of the Ambani family, Jamnagar, in the Indian state of Gujarat. March 1 was the first night of the three-day pre-wedding celebration. The official wedding is set to take place in July.
The amount Mukesh Ambani has spent on Rihanna’s concert is unsurprising, as the business tycoon spent over $100 million on the wedding of her daughter, Isha Ambani. Isha’s ceremony featured a live gig by Beyoncé.
Anant Ambani is the youngest child of Mukesh Ambani, the chairman of Reliance Industries. 66-year-old Ambani is the world’s 10th richest person. Forbes estimated his net worth at more than $116 billion. Reliance Industries is India’s biggest company by market capitalization, having stakes in telecom, oil, gas, and other sectors.
