Amy Slaton, 1000 LB Sisters, Arrested of Drug Possession and Child Endangerment

Amy Slaton Halterman was arrested after an incident that took place at Tennessee Safari Park, according to the Cricket County Sheriff’s Department. On Monday, September 2, the arrest took place after the officials responded to a Labor Day call about a Zoo guest who was bitten by a camel.

The police officials, via a news post, confirm that Haltarman was arrested on the pretext of “Schedule I, illegal possession of Schedule VI, and two counts of child endangerment.”

Additionally, the officials, via his Facebook post confirmed, “Upon arrival, deputies were immediately overtaken by suspicious odors coming from the guest’s vehicle,”

Meanwhile, a man named Brian Scott Lovron was also in the same vehicle and has faced similar charges. The post added, “Both subjects have been booked into the Crockett County Jail. The charges and allegations referenced in this release are merely accusations of criminal conduct and not evidence. The defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt and convicted through due process of law.”

Amy, 36, has starred against her sister on TLC’s 1000 LB sisters since 2020. In 2019, Amy Slaton Halterman went through a bariatric surgery and lost more than 175 pounds by the end of 2023. Nevertheless, it was a difficult year for Amy since her husband, Michael Halterman, filed for a divorce in 2023 which was four years after their marriage. In the divorce documentation, he listed the date of separation a month prior in 2023. The two shared sons, Gage, 4, and Glenn, 2, worked in a custody arrangement during the divorce proceedings.

Amy, in one of the episodes of 1000 LB sisters, documented finalizing the divorce. She stated, “I get the boys 70 percent of the time, Michael gets ‘em 30.”

Michael, before stating the agreement, requested a 50/50 custody agreement. She stated, “I was the chef, I was the cook, I was the nanny, I was everything in that house. He was a video game player.” During the hearing, Michael claimed to be an “equal parent.”

In February, the TLC fame documented her new romance with a man named Kevin. She shared a few photographs from her first date in TikTok. However, by March, the ex-couple seemed to have broken off the relationship.

Additionally, in one of her TikTok videos, she responded to a fan saying, “Life is already hard. I don’t want to be around anyone who makes it worse. I love you all. It has been a rough few days and f–k him! Not crying over his loser ass.”
