Blackpink’s Jennie Kim has finally made her runway debut. The 28-year-old singer surprised her fans at Jacquemus’ Italy show.
She is one of the most loved members of the K-pop girl group. She closed out Jacquemus’ “La Casa” 15th anniversary. Kim wore an open-back black midi dress with zebra-print heels and a blue clutch to Monday’s event.
Even though her runway debut was kept a secret, the brand teased it with a carousel of images on Instagram. Kim was seen at a beach in an unconventional towel-like red strapless dress with black shades. Further, in video clips, Kim is seen taking a stroll at the beach while holding the towel.
Her debut became even more jaw-dropping with the cliffside sea view on the Italian island. Despite the event being attended by divas such as Dua Lipa, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, and Gwyneth Paltrow, Jennie marked her delightful presence in the hearts and minds of the audience.

This is not the first time that Jennie has represented a premium brand. Last year, the South Korean artist was made the face of Guirlande. She was seen in cozy sets for the holiday campaign and posed with dogs.
Meanwhile, Kim’s bond with the French designer Simon Porte Jacquemus is not far from the media’s limelight. She has attended many of the 34-year-old’s shows over the past few years.
On a related note, Jennie also had her main character moment at the Met Gala last month. She wore a blue custom Alaïa mini dress. Notably, this was the second time she attended the red carpet event. She made her debut in 2023 wearing a ’90s chic vintage look from Chanel.
Apart from her eye-catching red carpet looks and singing abilities, she is also famous as an ambassador for Calvin Klein and Chanel.
