The South Korean Bangtan Boys may have taken a break, but that doesn’t stop them from making their fans excited. After the announcement of V, aka Kim Taehyung’s new digital single release, and J-Hope’s docu-series, both scheduled to release in March this year, SUGA has taken the BTS army by storm. BTS’ SUGA is about to hit the silver screens across the world.
On March 6, 2024, at midnight KST, the BTS Member amazed the fans with a video in which SUGA himself announced the release date of his new concert film, “Agust D TOUR ‘D-DAY’ THE MOVIE.”
This upcoming feature film will hit theatres worldwide and IMAX on April 10 and 13, respectively. It will include footage from SUGA’s “‘D-DAY’ THE FINAL” concert, which was held in August last year. The film captures the raw emotions of the tour, which features SUGA and other BTS members RM, Jimin, and Jungkook.
SUGA said in the announcement video,
The D-Day tour was so meaningful because it told the story of my journey as both SUGA and Agust D. The emotions I felt during the finale are still so vivid, as it was the last concert of the tour. And now, that very D-Day the final concert will be released in theaters worldwide!
I’m so happy, proud and excited,
he continued to talk about the movie.
I hope you’ll enjoy it as much as the concert meant to me.
SUGA also revealed that ticket bookings for the feature film will start on March 13 at midnight KST. Fans can check for more information on the movie’s official website. Along with the video, SUGA also revealed the poster for “Agust D TOUR ‘D-DAY’ THE MOVIE.”
He reported for mandatory military duty in September 2023 for the country and is working in the public sector currently.
