Chance Perdomo, Chilling Adventure of Sabrina’s Fame, Dies at 27

Chance Perdomo, 27 (at the time of death), who came into the limelight with the film, Chilling Adventure of Sabrina, died in a motorcycle accident.

Although no one else was involved or injured in the accident, Perdomo’s associates told The Hollywood Reporter.

In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, the actor’s representative, while mourning his death said

His passion for the arts and insatiable appetite for life was felt by all who knew him, and his warmth will carry on in those who he loved dearest. We ask to please respect the family’s wish for privacy as they mourn the loss of their beloved son and brother,

Chance Perdomo, who was a National Youth Theatre and Identity School of Acting’s alumni, made his on-screen debut with the short-film, Onfield Drive (2016). Besides, he gained the limelight with his appearance in the Netflix series, The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, wherein he played the titular character’s cousin, Ambrose Spellman.

His last appearance was in Gen V, an Amazon Prime Video’s spinoff of The Boys. In the show, he portrayed Andre Anderson, a Godolkin University’s student who has magic and magnetic abilities.

In a statement released by Gen V producers’, they expressed their sadness saying

We can’t quite wrap our heads around this. For those of us who knew him and worked with him, Chance was always charming and smiling, an enthusiastic force of nature, an incredibly talented performer, and more than anything else, just a very kind, lovely person. Even writing about him in the past tense doesn’t make sense. We are so sorry for Chance’s family, and we are grieving the loss of our friend and colleague. Hug your loved ones tonight.

Besides, in a separate statement, the Amazon MGM Studios and Sony Pictures Television, who were also the producers of Chance Perdomo’s last project, Gen V, said,

The entire Gen V family is devastated by the sudden passing of Chance Perdomo. Amazon MGM Studios and Sony Pictures Television extend our heartfelt thoughts and support to Chance’s family and all who loved him at this difficult time.
