On January 3, 2023, while playing at the 17 Monday Night Football game for his team Buffalo against Cincinnati, Damar (safety) collapsed in the playground. Meanwhile, this happened after a tackle by Cincinnati’s Tee Huggins. Within minutes, the medical professionals rushed to perform CPR. However, since Hamlin showed no movements, he was immediately taken to the University of Cincinnati Medical Centre. Following he was taken to the medical facility, it was revealed that he suffered a cardiac arrest.
Subsequently, on January 5, 2023, Bill cornerback, Kair Ellam, released a press note about Hamlin’s improving health conditions. Damar has shown remarkable improvement over the past 24 hours” and “while still critically ill, he has demonstrated that he appears to be neurologically intact.
