Emily in Paris is an American rom-com drama created by Darren Star. The drama first premiered on October 2, 2020, and was renewed for a second season by Netflix on December 22, 2021. In January 2022, it was renewed for the third and fourth seasons. The third season premiered on December 21, 2022. Although both seasons were scheduled to be filmed back-to-back, unfortunately, the fourth season could not be filmed because of the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes, and therefore, the production was put on hold.
Now that the strikes are officially over, the production process has started. The filming starts on January 22, 2024. The release of season 4 premiered on 12 September 2024.

The series Emily in Paris is the story of Emily Cooper, a girl from Chicago. Emily has a master’s degree in communications and has moved to Paris for job purposes. She is asked to bring an American point of view to the French marketing firm. The series shows her facing cultural conflict and a constant struggle in her friendships and relationships. The third season’s story revolved around Alfie, played by Lucien Laviscount, breaking up with Emily after finding out about the Gabriel pact. The pact focused on Camille and Emily’s feelings for Gabriel and how neither of them would date him.

As we mentioned earlier, the shooting for the fourth season is expected to be wrapped up by April 2024.
