In a recent update, Euphoria Season 3 encountered a setback in its production schedule, disappointing fans who were eagerly anticipating the next chapter of Sam Levinson’s drama. On the contrary, Euphoria Season 3’s setback comes after initial optimism surrounding HBO’s emphasis on the scripting process prioritising it after the writer’s strike.
Not only the setback, but the forthcoming series cast which included Dune: Part Two’s fame Zendya and Anyone But You’s fame Sydney Sweeney has advised them to continue their other projects.
HBO and Sam Levinson remain committed to making an exceptional third season. In the interim, we are allowing our in-demand cast to pursue other opportunities
read a statement released by HBO.
In the same statement, HBO also mentioned that the actors are not released from their contracts. However, owing to the production delay, they have been provided with the allowance to bag other projects in order to keep the star’s career from getting hampered.
On the other hand, the series’ creator, Sam Levinson, in an interaction with Elle’s over Zendaya’s 2023 cover story, teased about the filming schedules of the much awaited season, Euphoria Season 3. In the interview, Levinson, went on to say that Zendaya’s character “Rue” will “explore what it means to be an individual with principles in a corrupt world.”
Nevertheless, in a media interaction last week’s media interaction, another prime cast member, Sydney Sweeney, commented about the Euphoria Season 3’s filming
Honestly, [talking about Euphoria is] like, as scary as talking about Marvel. I said one thing, and it went everywhere.
Meanwhile, when enquired about bagging another project, she replied “Maybe, I Don’t know.”
In her “I said one thing, and it went everywhere” statement, she was referring to one of her past interviews with MTV wherein she went on to tease about the filming details of Euphoria Season 3. When asked about her projects, she answered “I will go into Euphoria next.”
