‘General Hospital’ Actor Johnny Wactor Shot And Killed In LA

General Hospital star Johnny Wactor, who played Brando Corbin in ABC’s show, died a tragic death. The soap opera actor was shot and killed on Saturday morning in Los Angeles. Reports suggest that the incident happened at around 3 in the morning. Wactor’s mother said that he and his friends saw someone near his car. They assumed it was being towed, and Wactor approached them. The victim’s mother, Scarlett Wactor, said that a mask-wearing suspect opened fire.

Meanwhile, she also said that Wactor did not resist or fight with anyone and was shot for no reason. The suspects left the crime scene immediately, and no arrests have been made till now. The LAPD has also said that the three of them were stealing a catalytic converter from Wactor’s car. The 37-year-old was declared dead after he was taken to the hospital.

Apart from his role in General Hospital, the American actor has credits in titles such as Siberia, Army Wives, USS Indianapolis: Men of Courage, and Supercell. He first starred in Army Wives in 2007 and got his first big break with General Hospital.

Wactor’s talent agent, David Shaul, confirmed his death to Variety on Sunday through a statement. Shaul said,

Johnny Wactor was a spectacular human being. Not just a talented actor who was committed to his craft but a real moral example to everyone who knew him. Standing for hard work, tenacity and a never give up attitude. In the highs and lows of a challenging profession he always kept his chin up and kept striving for the best he could be.

Our time with Johnny was a privilege we would wish on everyone. He would literally give you the shirt off his back. After over a decade together, he will leave a hole in our hearts forever.
