Country singer Jessie James Decker has welcomed her fourth baby into this world with her husband, Eris Decker. She shared this good news on Sunday with an Instagram post.
Her Instagram post featured her on a hospital bed. The newborn is curled up to her chest, and Jessie’s husband Eric beholds his sight as she smiles for the camera. The second photo shows the baby lying on a blanket wearing a zip-up romper with prints of helicopters and cars on it.
Notably, the Decker couple is already parents to three kids: sons Eric Thomas, 8, and Forrest Bradley, 5, and daughter Vivianne Rose, 9. They announced in August last year that they were expecting another child. Jessie posted on Instagram to reveal her baby bump on a reel with the song “Always Be My Baby.” Later, she confirmed that she was expecting a baby boy.
Jessie told People magazine that her kids have been helping her in the nursery to finalize things. She said that her 5-year-old son Forrest writes love letters to the baby, and he is so excited to become a big brother. Moreover, her elder son, Eric, has become her protector.
In August 2023, the singer mentioned on her Instagram story that she was shocked and that her fourth pregnancy was not planned at all. She added that she had been telling the 36-year-old former NFL player that
it was probably time to get a vasectomy because [she] felt like [they] were done.
Notably, Jessie has been quite vocal about Eric’s refusal to get a vasectomy. She said in an interview with the US Weekly in January 2023,
He says it takes, like, his manhood away from him. So he’s just gonna leave it, I guess.
