Jimmy Kimmel threatens to take legal action against Aaron Rodgers for associating his name with the late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. Rodgers appeared on the Pat McAfee show and took a shot at Jimmy Kimmel on Tuesday, saying that his name might appear on the soon-to-be-made public list of clients of Jeffrey Epstein. The list of names is in the court documents from 2015, which have been sealed by a federal judge since then. Rodgers said “There are a lot of people, including Jimmy Kimmel, who are hoping that list doesn’t come out, but if it does, Rodgers will be happy and open a bottle.”
Kimmel’s response also indicated that he would not hesitate to file a defamation suit against Rodgers. He said that he has not had any contact with Epstein, and his name will not be on any list. He wrote, “Your reckless words put my family in danger. Keep it up, and we will debate the facts further in court.”

It is not the first time that Kimmel and Rodgers have engaged in an argument. Jimmy has poked Rodgers about his stand on vaccines and UFO theories. Rodgers appeared in McAfee last February and brought up Epstein’s list in the show. According to a report by Variety, Kimmel aired that clip on his show Jimmy Kimmel Live and called Aaron a “tin foil hater.” Kimmel also called Rodgers a “green bay whack packer” in March 2023 over his comments that the news of the UFO was released to divert the public’s attention from the Epstein list.
Notably, Kimmel’s show “Jimmy Kimmel Live” and “The Pat McAfee Show” are broadcast on ABC and ESPN, respectively. Both are Disney-owned companies, and this dispute might lead Disney to take a side.
