The recent interview of Jon Bon Jovi with The Independent has stirred up a fresh controversy. The interaction which included Jovi’s drug experience and his advice to his son who will be marrying Stranger Things actor Millie Bobby Brown also involved his statement about cheating on his wife.
Jon Bon Jovi, 62, and his wife, Dorothea Hurley, 61, secretly married in 1989. As of 2024, the couple is all set to celebrate their 35th anniversary and has four children, A daughter, Stephanie, born in 1993; and three sons, Jesse, Jake, and Romeo, born in 1995, 2002, and 2004, respectively.
Talking about his marriage, Jovi credits her long-lasting relationship to “a mutual admiration society, and being lucky enough to have grown up together”. However, in the same interview, he talked about the tolerances the couple managed in the relationship.

Now, fueling up his statement, Jon Bon Jovi, in an ABC Primetime show, Halfway Special, jokingly said he “got away with murders”. In the same interview with ABC anchor Michael Strahan, he added,
I’m a rock ‘n’ roll star, I’m not a saint. I’m not saying that there weren’t 100 girls in my life. I’m Jon Bon Jovi.
However, later, clearing his statement, Jovi went on to praise his wife“
what she did to keep the kids right, what she does to keep me right, what we do together to keep it right.
She’s certainly not afraid to call me out on something, but she’s also there when I fall, and I’m there for her when she falls.
Now, as per media speculations, owing to Jon Bon Jovi’s infidelity statements, the couple is facing some trouble in their marriage. Noticeably, Dorothea Hurley did not attend the New York event of Jovi’s docuseries, “Thank You, Goodnight”.
