Overlord Season 5: What Could Have Happened?
The release date of the show’s fifth season is still up in the air. However, we expect it to go into the last arc based on Kugane Maruyama’s light novel. The serialization of the light novel began in 2010 and is still going strong. There are a total of sixteen volumes, with the anime covering chapters one through eleven. Overlord: The Sacred Kingdom, the next anime film, is likely to cover volumes 12 and 13.
That leaves volumes 14–18 as possible episodes for season 5. Maruyama still hasn’t dropped Vol. 17 and Vol. 18. Hence, Overlord Season 5 is likely to include these Volumes in the episode The Planet of Overlord appears to be teetering on the brink of collapse due to the breakdown of the conflict. War is declared between Nazarick and the Re-Estize Kingdom. Ainz Ooal Gown, the protagonist, has issues with it right away.
Fans were able to witness the Re-Estize and Sorcerer kingdoms fight it out from the start of the War of Annihilation. On the other hand, the main character of the anime is already facing a lot of problems because Ainz’s guild headquarters appear to be right in the center of the battlefield. So, to calm things down, he and his fellow guild members have decided to defend their headquarters and guild by bringing down the Sorcerer Kingdom. Ainz will make wiser choices even as the battle heightens the difficulties.
