Comedian Pete Davidson and actress Chase Sui Wonders have decided to end their romance after less than a year together, a source confirmed to PEOPLE.
The source revealed, “He’s single again. He’s out and about and doing really well.” Davidson seems to be dealing well with the break up.
The 29-year-old Saturday Night Live alum had recently taken the step to check into mental health treatment voluntarily. In June, an individual close to Davidson shared that he stayed there for a short period of time. He was receiving in-patient therapy for post traumatic stress disorder and previously diagnosed borderline personality disorder.
After his treatment, Davidson was seen at a comedy club in Dania Beach where he performed a standup set. “Pete will often check himself into rehab to work on these issues,” another source mentioned. It highlights Davidson’s positive and proactive approach to his well-being.

A few months prior to their break up, Davidson and Wonders were involved in a car crash in Beverly Hills. He drove into a fire hydrant. Davidson faced charges of reckless driving. He was sentenced with an 18 month diversion program. It entailed 50 hours of community service and 12 hours of traffic school along with visits to morgues and hospitals for educational purposes. Nevertheless, neither the accident, nor the legal consequences seem to have derailed his efforts towards staying well. Davidson’s focus remains on his career and well-being as he copes with the personal pitfall.
Davidson and Wonders co-starred in the slasher film “Bodies Bodies Bodies.” They were seen attending a New York Rangers game together in December. It sparked speculations about their romance. Their public outings kept making headlines. They were even spotted in Hawaii. Davidson was discontent with excessive focus on his personal life.
