American singer and actress Sabrina Carpenter has released the music video for her latest single, ‘Please Please Please.’ The video, which was released on Thursday afternoon, features her real-life boyfriend, Barry Keoghan. The visuals are directed by Bardia Zeinali, with the video produced by Jack Antonoff. Notably, Jack is a ten-time Grammy Award winner and has collaborated with artists such as Taylor Swift, Kendrick Lamar, and Lana Del Rey.
The video starts with Sabrina sitting as she sees her boyfriend, Barry Keoghan, being dragged inside the jail. Then, Keoghan gets arrested again and again because of incidents such as robbing banks and fighting other men. Sabrina, meanwhile, collects him after his release every time. Near the end, Sabrina cuffs him to a chair and tapes over his mouth.
“Please, please, please don’t bring me to tears when I just did my makeup so nice,” the lyrics go when she repeatedly gets him out of jail.
At last, she sings, “Heartbreak is one thing; my ego’s another.”
Further, she sings the chorus, “I beg you, don’t embarrass me, motherf***er. Please, please, please.”
