Sean Diddy Combs is an influential but highly controversial American rapper. A newly obtained CCTC clip reveals that he indeed harassed his ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura, just like she mentioned in her November lawsuit.
In a recent viral video, American rap mogul Sean Diddy Combs was spotted doing something very traumatizing. A surveillance video from 2016 shows Diddy grabbing and kicking his ex-girlfriend, Cassie Ventura. Notably, the clip aligns with accusations that Cassie made in a lawsuit that she filed last year.
Cassie is seen coming out of a hotel room and moving towards the elevator. Soon, Diddy starts following her with just a towel wrapped around his waist. As soon as he sees her, he grabs Cassie’s neck and pushes her to the ground. Then he kicks her aggressively and grabs her stuff. Ventura lies still on the ground for a few seconds. Then, the 54-year-old rapper kicks her again and drags her to the room. He lets her go, but attacks again with an object on the table near him as Ventura runs towards the elevator.
Meanwhile, PEOPLE reported that the 37-year-old singer and model’s attorney, Douglas H. Wigdor, commented on the clip. He stated,
The gut-wrenching video has only further confirmed the disturbing and predatory behavior of Mr. Combs. Words cannot express the courage and fortitude that Ms. Ventura has shown in coming forward to bring this to light.
In the lawsuit that Cassie filed in November 2023, she detailed the exact scenario at the InterContinental Hotel in Century City, Los Angeles. It mentioned an incident in or around March 2016″ where “Mr. Combs became extremely intoxicated and punched Ms. Ventura in the face, giving her a black eye.”
The lawsuit adds,
After he fell asleep, Ms. Ventura tried to leave the hotel room, but as she exited, Mr. Combs awoke and began screaming at Ms. Ventura.
He followed her into the hallway of the hotel while yelling at her. He grabbed at her, and then took glass vases in the hallway and threw them at her, causing glass to crash around them as she ran to the elevator to escape.
Ventura clarified in the lawsuit that she managed to escape and went to her apartment with a cab.
