Netflix has launched a new French series named Shafted with four white men struggling miserably in the changing phase of the world and women. They desire to be aggressive and carefree, but what men can truly ever do that in front of women? The series being catchy is a good way to go for a binge-watch. However, there is much to explore about the cast, plot and expected Shafted season 2 release date.
Shafted Season 2 Release Date
For now, there is no official updates on the Shafted season 2 renewal. We all know by now that Netflix decides whether a series is going to have its next part solely on the basis of its success.
That is why they have remarked on the Spanish comedy Machos Alfa to make this French series, Shafted. But the problem is this new adaptation is not getting quite the limelight with a 5.3 IMDb rating. Critics are criticizing it for being another misogynistic note to put forward men’s perspective.
New Updates on Shafted Season 2 Renewal
Shafted Season 1 was just released on 24 January, 2025. So, the show is right now in its initial stage and unfortunately, there are no updates on the renewal yet.
The makers are entirely depending on the decision of Netflix for a renewal. They have tactically open-ended the season 1 of Shafted leaving a scope for a sequel.
However, the entire decision lies in whether Netflix wants to continue or not. If it was a hit, you could have been assured of renewal, but the mixed and mostly not-so-favorable initial reactions from both critics and the audience makes us skeptical.
