Taylor Swift exclaimed that she was in “complete shock” following the stabbing incident which left three children murdered and several injured. The horrific incident took place at a dance class located in Southport, England.
The “Lover” singer addressed the incident on Instagram, stating, “The horror of yesterday’s attack in Southport is washing over me continuously, and I’m just completely in shock.”
She added, “The loss of life and innocence, and the horrendous trauma inflicted on everyone who was there, the families, and first responders. These were just little kids at a dance class.”
The incident has stunned the entire nation, and left the country’s police and government with the question, where guns are prohibited, but knives are described as a “national crisis.”
Soon after the attack, a 17 year old was arrested on the pretext of “on suspicion of murder and attempted murder.”
On the Instagram post, Swift said, “I am at a complete loss for how to ever convey my sympathies to these families.”
Among the several attacks, two succumbed to their injuries on Monday, and the Merseyside Police announced the death of a third child.

The police statement stated, “The nine-year-old girl died in hospital in the early hours of this morning, Tuesday, 30 July. We can confirm that the children who died yesterday were girls aged six and seven years.”
It added, “Eight other children suffered stab wounds sustained during the attack, and five of them are in a critical condition. Two adults are also in a critical condition after being injured during the incident.”
According to the security officials, as soon as the accused entered the premises, he started stabbing the children, which left several of them in severe condition.
Serenna added, “We believe that the adults who were injured were bravely trying to protect the children who were being attacked.”
Queen Camilla and her husband, King Charles III also grieved on the incident, stating that they were “profoundly shocked.”
He said, “My wife and I have been profoundly shocked to hear of the utterly horrific incident in Southport.”
The United Kingdom Prime Minister Keir Starmer, also addressed the traumatising incident and said “whole country” has been left “deeply shocked at what they’ve seen.”
