I know that Jon has written the scripts. I know he’s excited about continuing to tell stories in this world, and so when and how that happens, considering everything, we’ll see. It’s certainly coming. I just don’t know exactly when.
However, according to fan theories, Famuyiwo’s statement hinted at the announced film, The Mandalorian & Grogu.
Besides, in the same interview, the executive producer talked about the show’s future, while confirming a fourth season. He explained,
I mean look I don’t think it’s a secret that Jon Favreau is excited about continuing to tell stories, he’s written season 4. I don’t know I’d be shocked if they just stopped making them at this point. But yeah, I think that just the way shows come together, and the process around the shows, I know that they’re deep into starting the prep and the pre-production process. Owing to no updates, there are no release dates for The Mandalorian season 4. However, if the filming commences in 2024, we will likely receive the fourth instalment in 2025.
